My Journey to opening Dubai's first Argentine Bakery

My Journey: From Argentina to Dubai

I start baking when I’m a teenager in Argentina, not because I need to, but because I want to have my own money. While still in school, I begin baking cakes and sweets at home and selling them. Soon, I’m bringing my baked goods to local markets, growing my passion for baking.

    From Bakeries to Business Dreams

I work in various bakeries and cafes, learning the ins and outs of the industry. But I’m always looking for new opportunities, and eventually, I decide to move to Europe. There, I begin as a flight attendant. However, the pandemic changes everything. I lose my job, and after working at a call center in London, I decide to return to my passion for baking.

    A New Beginning in London

I open an Instagram account from scratch and start baking from home, sharing photos of my creations. Over time, I build a small following and, after a few months, I get the courage to ask a bakery for a job. I work from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. baking for them and then, in the evenings, baking for my growing customer base.

    Building My Dream Bakery

I spend over a year dedicated to my dream, saving everything I can to open my own bakery. While searching for a location in London, I realize that I’m not meant to stay there. So, I look into Dubai and discover there are no Argentinian bakeries there. I know in that moment that this is where I’m meant to be.

    A Dream Realized in Dubai

In less than eight months, I open Ninna Bakery—completely on my own. From that point on, I continue to share my journey, my mission, and the story of bringing Argentina’s traditions to Dubai.

    What Do You Think?

I’ve shared the first part of my story—how my love for baking turned into a full-blown business. Do you like it so far? Should I keep going and share more of my journey, the challenges I’ve faced, and how Ninna Bakery came to life?

Let me know what you think in the comments! Your thoughts and feedback mean the world to me.
